I'm sorry for my inactivity, I have been pretty busy in real life that I tend to forget about my blog.
There's something that I would like to share with everyone.
Tadi aku terjumpa kawan lama, nama tak perlu sebut. He prefers keeping a low profile. He told me a story about one man, that suffered during the economy breakdown in 1998. Bear in mind this is a true story.
In 1998, this man, a Muslim we'll call him A, lost his house, his belongings, everything except for 2 ringgit.
Before I continue let me ask you, how in the world are you going to continue living with only 2 ringgit?? I asked this question myself. The cheapest he could get, is Ais Kosong/Plain Water at a mamak or any restaurant for 20 cents. And food? Even a nasi lemak costs RM1, a Roti Canai for 80 cents. A managed to survive with only 2 ringgit, for 2 weeks.
So how did he survive?
He bought Ais Kosong everyday, once a day, but only took 2 sips for every hour. Imagine, 2 sips! What about food? He goes to KFC. I was abit surprised myself, "haa? KFC? I thought he was left with 2 ringgits only?" Well you were deceived. He went to KFC, find some leftovers on the customer tables, and put them in a plastic bag. Then he went behind the restaurant, and eats.
Yes "A" lived on by drinking ais kosong, 2 sips for every hour and eats leftover for a living. But the important part is, he never failed to pray. He lost his house, so he stayed at a masjid/mosque. He never fails to pray 5 times a day.
What happened to him now? After the economy stabilized he got a job, finished his degree in Australia, and is now a CEO of a company. From someone who is homeless, with no belongings, no money, to a CEO who drives a BMW.
Honestly I can't think of anything more to write. Just read the story and think. How was your life that time in 1998? And compare it with his.
